Bear Threads is Heading to Florida

Big news, bears. Bear Threads is moving.

In two weeks I'm packing up my life and heading to Wilton Manors, Florida — and if you know, you know. For those who don't, Wilton Manors is a small city just outside Fort Lauderdale that happens to be one of the gayest places in America. Like, statistically. It's basically a city built for guys like us and I've been wanting to make this move for a long time.

This isn't just a personal move — it's a Bear Threads move. Being in South Florida puts me closer to the community, closer to the beach, and honestly closer to the lifestyle that Bear Threads was built around. More pool days. More ocean shots. More content that actually looks like it belongs in a swim brief brand. Expect the photography to get significantly better.

What this means for your orders:

I'm shipping all Bear Threads inventory to the new Florida location on July 28th. During the move, orders will not ship between July 26th and August 5th. Starting August 6th we'll be fully operational and shipping from sunny Wilton Manors.

If you need something before July 28th, order now and I'll get it out before the move. If you can wait until August 6th, your order will ship from Florida with a whole lot of sunshine built in.

Thanks for your patience and support while I make this leap. I've been building Bear Threads from Northern California and it's always felt a little incongruous — a swim brief brand that doesn't actually live near the ocean. That changes in two weeks.
