I'm JD, founder of Bear Threads.

I make fun, sexy, body-forward clothes for men. We started with swimwear, and now we're moving into underwear and taking another run at athletic wear.

Here's what I've learned since we launched in Spring 2025: a lot of guys are curious. They've seen another man in a brief at the pool and thought, "I could never pull that off," or "Where would I even find that?" What they're really waiting for is permission.

Consider this your permission.

Our suits are cut to show you off. Our signature contoured pouch is designed for real anatomy: not exaggerated, not minimized. Let's be honest: men like their dicks. Their clothes should admit it.

I wear everything I make, and I'm the guy in many of our photos, on purpose. I love my body. I think men's bodies are works of art, and Bear Threads is built on that belief. Our Classic cut now goes up to 5XL, and the Mini cut is headed there too. Whatever your age, shape, size, or story, your body is worth celebrating.

What's next: more colors, a new underwear line, and athletic wear built to work hard and still turn heads.
