We want to make sure you get the fit that's right for you and each garment can vary a little bit due to materials, construction and your preference for fit (whether you prefer things a bit tighter or looser). So use the size guides below to find the fit that's right for you. 

The sizing shown below is based on actual measuring of your waist and is the preferred way to determine sizing. Basing your sizing by using garments you own is not recommended as many brands use vanity sizing to make you think you have smaller measurements than you really do. For example. I have a true 39 inch waist and I can easily fit into a size 32 or 34 in Levis jeans.  So get a measuring tape and measure around your actual waist. then use the sizing charts below to determine what size to buy.

Bear Threads offers two swim styles. Brief and Mini Brief. The Mini Brief fits a bit more snug than the Brief, so it's best to look for your measurement on the top end of the size chart to ensure a proper, comfortable fit.

Large           34-36"

Use this as your size guide and again, please base your measurement of of actually measuring your waist size, rather than basing it off of other brands. We do not use vanity sizing. 

Our performance mesh shorts are very stretchy and accommodating. And you can base your fit off of your preference. I have a 39" waist and can fit comfortably into a size Medium, so long as I'm ok with every detail of my anatomy being shown off. Which I am and I prefer.  But base your purchase off what you're comfortable with. You can go down a size or two depending on your fit preference..
